What does 'sustainability' mean to you?: Sustainability for me is directly tied to lowering our collective carbon footprint.

What do you do to try and live green and what would you like to learn more about?: I live in a cohousing community in Boulder, CO, where one of our shared values as residents is living with an environmental consciousness. We share community meals, a community garden, an eco-pass for the bus, and support one another as we go through life passages as a community of friends and neighbors.

What concerns you most about the issues facing the environment, whether locally or globally?: Key issue is our need to become less dependent on fossil fuels and more local in meeting our basic needs for food, housing, energy and transportation.
