Big Head Todd and the Monsters, architect Paolo Soleri, Rocky Mountain Institute genius Amory Lovins, author and rabble rouser Jim Hightower and food activist John Robbins will be at this two day event celebrating sustainability innovations.
Sustainability for me is directly tied to lowering our collective carbon footprint.
What do you do to try and live green and what would you like to learn more about?
I live in a cohousing community in Boulder, CO, where one of our shared values as residents is living with an environmental consciousness. We share community meals, a community garden, an eco-pass for the bus, and support one another as we go through life passages as a community of friends and neighbors.
What concerns you most about the issues facing the environment, whether locally or globally?
Key issue is our need to become less dependent on fossil fuels and more local in meeting our basic needs for food, housing, energy and transportation.
